Care to help?

I have so much raw material that needs cleaning up, I’d be delighted if there are someone who can help out, so we can speed up the process of getting out new magazines.

I can even make a dedicated video tutorial for how I clean the Amiga Advis pages.

Though it’s in generally the same as the way I show here http://blog.tomse.dk/2013/09/16/using-gimp-to-clean-up-scanned-images/, but much less work!: remove black borders, set white/black balance, perhaps make a small rotation, save.

Same tutorial is shown below.

Site Maintenance

MustekI’ve been doing some updating to how the pages look like, some more info are now given, making it look better too.

I hope you enjoy the small change I’ve done.

I have also started adding the frontpage scans of the magazines I have, waiting to be scanned. For now I’ve only added a few Amiga Format pages, and while wanting to continue, I’d have to stop. This is due to my A3 scanner once again makes stripes on the scanned images.

If you’re intending to buy a cheap A3 scanner and are looking at the Mustek USB 1200S scanner. Don’t!.

This is the second scanner of this model I have. The first one got replaced on warranty, and so is this second one going to be. I think I’ve only made 10 scans on this second one, already it’s broken.

New indicator

newI’ve added this small indicator for all new scans.

This symbol will be displayed for 14 days, taken from the timestamp of the scans. I think a month is too long, and a week is too short. If you disagree with me, leave a comment. It could very well be that I’ll make a select box with options. Atm. I don’t think it’s neccessary.
